Thankful

What are you thankful for?

I am thankful for my children, they are healthy, growing, happy, educated, safe and loved.

I am thankful for my family who have supported me and helped me even when I probably didn't deserve it.

I am thankful for my wonderful friends. I honestly don't know what I'd do without y'all. Friends can be a someone I see and laugh with everyday but it also means those of you who I have "met" through a computer screen. Each and everyone of you have added something to my life and I'm grateful for you.

I am thankful that I am employed. There are so many out there who are not able to say that right now.

I am thankful that I have made it another year, another Thanksgiving, another chance to tell each person in my life that I love them. Love you guys!!!

Seriously, Izzie is having sex with a ghost on Grey's? I'm not sure this what Katherine Hiegel had in mind when she degraded the writers about her storyline last year.

So at 2 am Sunday night, I hear a pounding on my door and the doorbell ringing uncontrollably. I look out the peep hole and in front of my house it is filled with firetrucks and ambulances. My first thought is my house is on fire. Keep in mind, Baxter is going crazy. I open the door and the EMT guy asks what my medical emergency is? *blank stare* Besides the heart attack you are giving me, there is none. He says they got a call from my address for an ambulance. Um...no. That was not a pleasant way to be woken up.

Life is great right now. I actually am excited about the new year!!!

Guess who is coming to visit in January??? PK!!!! WOO HOO!!!! Can't wait. She's coming in with her hubby who I have never met to attend a UK basketball game. He's never been to KY.....he's in for a treat.

Brady's doing great in physical therapy. The doctor is very pleased and excited with his progress in just a week.

Wednesday Ramblin's

Am I the only one that gets sad when the Grinch is mean to the little dog on the cartoon How the Grinch Stole Christmas? I just feel so bad for that puppy.

So I've gotten hooked on HBO's new series True Blood.

Brady's wrist is 10 lbs less strong than where it should be, if he were to fall on it wrong it would break immediately.

The fact that teams are able to tie in the NFL is crazy to me. I mean come on. Although it does mean that the Bengals have now gone 3 weeks without losing.

Baxter's bangs need a trim.

I had to carry a crockpot full of greenbeans into work today. Do you realize what a pain in the ass it is to carry that from the parking lot into my office? Let me tell ya'....pain in my ass.

It's cold here. Way to cold for this time of year. Boo.

Not a fan of Chinese food.

Basketball starts Thursday for the kids. One practices on Wednesday nights the other on Thursday nights. Games on Saturday. If you need me, that's where I'll be.

Still no word on the job, won't know anything until next week maybe. I'll keep you posted.

1. Who did you spend at least two hours with today? Well since it's only 6:32, nobody yet but I spent at least 2 hours with my kids yesterday and then I spent some time with "D" but other than that I was alone yesterday.

Thank you for those that wrote the encouraging comments on Wednesday about Brady's update. I have to be honest and say that I'm very down about it. It just seems that my fears about this injury keep coming true and we never get good news. Time will tell I suppose.

Ramblin's

I stood in line for 40 minutes yesterday to vote. It has never taken me more than 5 minutes in the past.

Weather in Kentucky has been around 75 and sunny....now that's perfect weather...too bad it's gonna change in 2 days. BOO

Brady has an appointment today to make sure everything is healing ok with his arm, keep your fingers crossed.

Remember the guy from Facebook that I wanted to clothes burn and everyone made fun of me??? and Remember how I was hung over last Friday because Thursday was a hell of a night?? You do the math.

I want a brand new house on an episode of Cribs
And a bathroom I can play baseball in
And a king size tub big enough for ten plus me

We've got football tonight. We haven't lost yet in the tournament, although tonight will be rough. Go Rams!!!

Baxter got a hot spot on his back. Go ahead, I had to google it too....anywho that set me back $72. Not thrilled about that but whatchagonnado?
